MindClay Launches Therapist Platform to Extend Care Between Sessions

Santa Barbara, CA — Dec 14, 2025
MindClay, the creative-arts-wellness company, today announced the release of its new Therapist Platform, a powerful extension of its interactive arts-based solution, designed to bridge the gap between therapy sessions. The platform enables therapists to assign creative, evidence-based digital experiences to clients, track engagement, and gain insights into their emotional progress between visits.

Built around the challenges faced by clinicians, including missed homework, limited visibility, and lost engagement, the platform allows therapists to integrate creative arts tools directly into their practice. Clients can complete short, therapeutic activities in art, writing, movement, and music, while therapists receive a real-time view of their emotional reflections and creative responses.

“Therapists often lose visibility into what happens during the 167 hours between sessions,” said Dr. Marco Pinter, CEO of MindClay. “Our new platform turns that lost time into therapeutic progress, while giving clients creative tools that deepen reflection and resilience.”

By making therapeutic homework both enjoyable and trackable, MindClay gives therapy practices an elegant way to extend care beyond the office, increasing engagement, improving retention, and saving valuable administrative time. Consistent use of MindClay’s tools can help clients process emotions more effectively, while reducing therapist workload and dropout rates.

MindClay Brings “Interactive Museum” Wellness Lounge to
Behavioral Health Tech 2025 in San Diego

MindClay Offering Attendees a First-of-its-Kind Immersive Wellness Space

San Diego, CA — October 7, 2025MindClay will host the Interactive Museum Wellness Lounge at the Behavioral Health Tech 2025 Conference, offering attendees a first-of-its-kind immersive wellness space. The Behavioral Health Tech Conference is the premier gathering of leaders across care, payors, technology, and policy, with more than 300 speakers.
The event is November 11-13, 2025 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
Unlike a traditional booth or a sponsorship, the Interactive Museum is a dedicated wellness lounge located prominently adjacent to the main conference hall. Attendees will be invited to step into a curated environment of body-based interactive artwork, designed to evoke reflection, play, and embodied engagement.
MindClay, currently serving populations and organizations worldwide, offers interactive tools grounded in evidence-based practice, spanning interactive drawing, music, creative writing, and movement. Unlike meditation-based apps, MindClay’s multi-sensory activities meet users where they are — engaging the body and imagination as much as the mind.
The  interactive artworks at the Wellness Lounge have previously been exhibited at museums and festivals and directly inspired several of MindClay’s signature activities. This bridge between museum artwork and digital platform reflects MindClay’s creative roots and its mission to engage people in mental wellness through the arts. The upcoming December cover story of Leonardo highlights exactly this foundation — showing how museum installations like those at the conference evolved into the MindClay platform.
“We want attendees to not only talk about wellness but to experience it directly — through art, movement, and interaction,” said Dr. Marco Pinter, Founder and CEO, MindClay.
The Interactive Museum Wellness Lounge will be open throughout the conference, located just outside the main session hall, and welcomes all participants to explore and engage.
Featured speakers at the conference:
  • Chris DeCou, PhD,  Director of Amazon Health Benefits, Amazon

Street Dance Meets Mental Health in New Collaboration Between MindClay and Emmy Winner Jon Boogz

A celebrated choreographer and an innovative digital platform, MindClay, team up to bring movement, culture, and creativity into the center of self-guided healing.

Santa Barbara, CA — August 11, 2025— A new collaboration between creative arts mental wellness app MindClay and Emmy Award-winning choreographer Jon Boogz brings street dance into the mental health conversation through a series of therapeutic, guided movement experiences.
This partnership marks a rare convergence of entertainment, culture, and mental wellness. Boogz’s new offerings on MindClay invite users into expressive movement sessions rooted in the language of street dance—an embodied alternative for those who don’t connect with traditional mental health tools like meditation or journaling.
MindClay, currently used worldwide, offers a wide range of evidence-informed experiences spanning interactive drawing, music, creative writing, and movement. Unlike meditation-based apps, MindClay’s multi-sensory activities meet users where they are — engaging the body and imagination as much as the mind.
“Personally, dance has been somatic therapy for me,” says Boogz. “It’s helped me get through anxiety and depressive states. I’m a huge supporter of MindClay—for what they’re doing and what they’re putting out into the world.”
“This partnership expands the vocabulary of healing,” says Marco Pinter, PhD, founder and CEO of MindClay. “We’re dedicated to creating emotionally intelligent, culturally relevant entry points for self-guided support. Street dance is raw, embodied, and expressive — and it belongs in the wellness conversation.”
Dance/movement therapist Maria Luisa Torres, LCPC, who consulted on the new modules, emphasizes the clinical grounding behind the work.
“Movement taps into nonverbal channels of emotion that talk therapy often can’t reach. When someone like Jon invites users into that space, it’s not just art — it’s therapeutic activation.”
The first street dance modules with Boogz are currently in development and will be released soon on MindClay.
MindClay is currently exploring strategic investment from partners passionate about mental health, creativity, and cultural impact.
