Transforming what happens between therapy sessions through creative arts and personalized engagement
Utilize evidence-based creative arts activities, track real engagement, and view clinically useful patterns.
Therapists Struggle With the Same Problem Everywhere

High Client Dropout
Lack of integration work between sessions leads to slower progress and higher attrition rates.

Sessions Start “Cold”
Without continuity, up to 50% of session time is spent just catching up on the week’s events.

Client Skips Homework
Unstructured assignments are forgotten or ignored. Up to 50% of traditional therapy homework is never completed.[1]

Clinical & Unengaging
Paper worksheets feel like schoolwork, failing to inspire the emotional connection needed for change.

Wasted Admin Time
Valuable billable hours are lost finding, printing, and managing physical materials for each client.

Zero Visibility
Therapists have no insight into clients’ emotional state or triggers during the prior week.

Assign
Therapist selects curated activities from the dashboard, during or after end of session, directly tied to active work.

Engage
Client engages in one or more guided 5-10 min creative modules (art, writing, music or movement) on their device.

Insight
Therapist reviews a synthesized summary before or at the start of the next session, for any data that they have enabled.

Capture
If enabled, the platform captures shared reflection text, creative choices, and emotional state from the activity.

Mindclay upgrades therapist workflow and client engagement simultaneously, turning “lost time” into therapeutic progress.

Frequently Asked Questions
MindClay is designed with healthcare use in mind. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored securely, with access controls in place so only authorized systems and personnel can access it. We minimize the data we collect, do not sell or share patient information, and separate development and testing environments from live patient data.
No. MindClay does not introduce real-time messaging, notifications, or between-session communication. As the therapist, you control whether clients can share their creations at all. If sharing is enabled, clients are clearly informed that anything they choose to share is intended for discussion in the next scheduled session—not for review or response outside of session time. You can disable sharing entirely at any point.
Your MindClay dashboard lets you choose between various verbiage, such as “recommended” or “suggested activities,” if that better suits your clients. You can also set expectations at the end of your live session.
Most clinicians spend 1–2 minutes reviewing a client summary before session. Assignments take under a minute to send. There is no ongoing monitoring required.
No. Client-facing language sets clear boundaries by default. MindClay does not enable messaging or require therapist responses outside of session.
MindClay is clinician-directed, not self-guided. Activities are assigned by the therapist, aligned with treatment goals, and summarized into therapist-usable insights—not raw logs.
Yes. Therapists control visibility, frequency, and depth of review. Nothing is forced into your workflow.
MindClay is designed to complement—not replace—existing systems. Summaries can be referenced in notes; enterprise integrations are available upon request.
MindClay does not currently submit claims directly. Practices can use it with existing reimbursement codes to support documentation for extended care, outcomes reporting, and treatment planning.
